Lumbini Adarsha Degree College is a renowned leading educational institution with multi-faculities such as Education, Arts, Management & Science. It was established in 2056(1999), in the middle part of Nepal (Kawasoti-5, Nawalparasi) to produce the excellent academic manpower as well as to support nation buildings from +2 level to Master Degree.

Nowadays most of the students who passed from this college, have been working in various sectors. In the glorious 12 years, the college has succeeded to establish itself as a reputed institution in the educational arena of Nepal.

Since the date of establishment, the college has become successful in different glorious achievements, five students from Post-Graduates (M.Ed) level obtained the merit marks and became succful to achieve the award from Nepal’s government “Nepal Bidhya Bhusan” ‘kha’. This is the most honoring and prestigious achievement that has made the entire family of college jubilant and proud.

At the existing time, the college is established as the National glory in academic field. MOre than 250 students are studying in Master (M.Ed) level representing more than four than dozens of districts. The product of this college have shown their worth from their careers as high level officials like CDO, DEO, School Inspectors, Trainers, Principals, Lectures, head teachers and other high level government officers even deputy secretary, branch officers etc working for the development and prosperity of nation.

Eligibility for Admission
A graduate with B.Ed degree either one year, two years or three years from Purbanchal University or a university recognized by Purbanchal University will be eligible to apply for admission in M.Ed. Programme.

Embracing the necessity and practicability of qualitative professional as well as technical education for the educational development of the country, Lumbini Adarsha Degree College was established in Kawasoti, the centre of east west highway, the heart of Nawalparasi in order to meet the aspirations of people through out the country proportionally.
The thought of higher education was first brought up by the distinguished intellectual circle, Social workers and all education related personalities that there needed a college to benefit the ordinary people who dreamt of sending children at accessible place in affordable cost .
At the beginning phase, +2 programme affiliated to HSEB was launched, and classes were started in Gyanodaya Lower secondary school along with the active participation and remarkable co-ordination of local people, social workers, politicians, enterpreneurs, businessmen, officials, teachers and students.
Hence, Lumbini Adarsha Degree college was only named Lumbini Adarsha college then established in 2056 B.S. in reference to prepared ‘prospectus’ 2056. of the college conduction and management under the affiliation of HSEB for +2 programmes and Purbanchal University for Bachelor programmer respectively , Thus the college was set up merely being the academic institution that is service oriented but non-political and non-commercial .
Since the period of establishment, the holy institution has been providing quality education . Some of the pioneering achievements in academic field are glorifying the image and elevating the national height throughout the country.
Now, Lumbini Adarsha Degree college establishes itself as an independent institution having its own buildings and spacious sports ground, surrounded by beautiful environment scenario. Method of Instruction
The method of teaching in the M.Ed. programme will be a combination of several approaches, encompassing lecture, group discussion, PRA, demonstration etc. At same time seminar, term paper presentation assignment, case analysis, problem solving, practical experiences and field work approaches will be used as techniques of giving instruction in the courses.
